This is a complete Swiss invoice: sender, customer, line items, VAT, rounding to 5 centimes and QR payment part.
Structure of the template
- Header: your logo and company details, then the address field for the window envelope.
- Title: invoice with number and date, then a short subject.
- Line items: description, quantity, unit, unit price and total per line.
- Totals: subtotal, VAT and total, rounded to 5 centimes if you like.
- Payment: payment deadline and, at the bottom, the QR payment part with receipt.

Template or invoicing software?

Frequently asked questions
Can I use the invoice template for free?
Yes. The sample PDF and the online template are free, unlimited and need no sign-up. Filled in online, it becomes your own invoice with your details and your QR payment part.
Is there a Word or Excel version?
We offer the template online because Word and Excel cannot produce a valid QR payment part. Online, the template calculates VAT and total and adds the QR code that matches your IBAN.
Does it work for sole traders and GmbHs?
Yes. As a sole trader enter your name or business name; for a GmbH or AG the company name as in the commercial register. VAT number only if you are registered.
Is the sample a real invoice?
No. It uses invented names and the official sample data of the Swiss banks (SIX) for the QR payment part. It cannot be paid.
