Create quotes straight from the customer enquiry
A customer sends an enquiry by email, and Velro prepares the quote: with your services and prices, in your company’s design. You review, adjust and send.
From the email to the finished quote
Every customer email in the inbox has a button to create a quote. Velro doesn’t just read the last message, but the entire correspondence with this customer. Velro recognises earlier quotes, and if the sender isn’t a contact yet, it is created with the details from the email.
This produces a title, line items with quantities and units, as well as notes and payment terms based on your pricing rules.
Or from a short description
Without an email, you describe the work in a few sentences, for example «Paint 3.5-room flat, ceilings and walls, materials included». Velro suggests a title and line items. Of course, you can also create any quote entirely by hand.
Send professionally
- PDF with your logo, your colours and your font
- Validity date, VAT breakdown or a note if you are VAT-exempt
- Sent from your own mailbox, so the customer recognises your address
- Cover text in your company’s language: German, French, Italian or English
Keep track
Every quote has a clear status: draft, sent, accepted, rejected or expired. Velro recognises customer replies in the thread and suggests the matching status change. If no reply arrives, a follow-up rule can follow up automatically.
If the customer accepts, the quote becomes a QR invoice with one click. What belongs in a good quote is covered in the guide to writing a quote.
Frequently asked questions
How does the AI know my prices?
In the settings, you store your services, prices and pricing rules, such as hourly rates, flat fees or deposit rules. The AI uses this information for every quote. You can change any line item before sending.
Is a quote sent to the customer automatically?
No. Velro creates a draft. You review it, adjust it if needed and send it yourself.
How does Velro know whether the customer accepts?
If the customer replies in the same email thread, Velro recognises whether it is an acceptance, a rejection or a change request and suggests the matching status change. You confirm it with one click.
Can I turn a quote into an invoice?
Yes. You turn an accepted quote into a Swiss QR invoice with one click, also split into a deposit and a final invoice.
