Velro is an AI-powered back office assistant designed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It automates recurring tasks such as email responses, scheduling, and quote creation.

Data security is our top priority. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS); credentials for your mailboxes are additionally stored AES-256-encrypted, and the database is backed up every night. We comply with the Swiss Data Protection Act and the GDPR and host in Switzerland. In addition, Velro passed the CASA AL1 security assessment based on the App Defense Alliance standard (backed by Google, among others) in July 2026 — carried out by the independent assessor TAC Security. We are happy to provide the certificate on request.

Yes! Velro connects directly to common email providers (Gmail, Outlook, IMAP) and calendars (Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar and via CalDAV, e.g. Hostpoint, Infomaniak or iCloud). A CRM is built in — contacts are automatically matched to incoming emails. External systems connect through our REST API (included in the Business plan or bookable as a module).

Yes — it's one of our core features. Velro creates invoices with the official Swiss QR payment slip as a PDF and sends them directly by email. Partial and advance payments are supported, the QR code always shows the open remainder, and overdue invoices are flagged automatically. All you need is your IBAN and sender address in the company settings.

Basic setup takes just a few minutes: connect your email account, fill in your company profile — done. The AI is ready immediately; the more company knowledge you provide (services, pricing rules, FAQ), the more precise the reply suggestions become.

Absolutely — Velro never sends on its own. Every AI reply is a suggestion that you review, adjust if needed, and send yourself. Only follow-up rules that you explicitly activate send automatically — with exactly the text you defined. You control tone, instructions and templates.

Yes, you can try Velro free for 14 days. To start, you add a payment method (e.g. credit card); it is only charged after the trial ends. Cancel before that and you pay nothing. After the trial your chosen plan continues automatically and can be cancelled anytime.

Velro's interface is available in German, English, French and Italian. The AI writes reply suggestions, quotes and invoices in the language you set for your company — for Swiss companies in Swiss Standard German without «ß» if you wish.

You can cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings. Monthly plans have no minimum term, yearly plans run for one year at a time; there are never any cancellation fees. After cancellation, you still have access until the end of the billing period.
